VIN INSPECTIONS

For Vin Inspections please call to set up an appointment. (785) 743-5721. Walk in Vin Inspections will be handled based on Deputy availability. Vin Inspection Hours for Appointment & Walk-In:

Monday-Friday 8am-11am and 1:30pm-5pm.

No Weekends or Holidays

There is a $20.00 Fee for all Vin Inspections.

 

CIVIL PROCESS

State Law mandates all Sheriff's Offices within the State maintain a Civil Unit. The Civil Unit is responsible for the service of all civil papers received by the Sheriff's Office. The Civil Unit also executes all court orders involving civil processes issued by the Courts, to include the collection of money and/or seizure of property, as prescribed by law.

The Unit collects any and all required fees and keeps/sends accurate returns to the courts of this County, as well as to all other courts in the United States. They are also responsible for arranging and conducting Sheriff's Sales and making due return to the court in accordance with the law. There is a $15.00 fee for all civil processes.

 

FINGERPRINTS

For licensing, certifications, conceal carry, backgrounds, must be made by appointment only. Monday-Friday 8am-11am and 1:30pm-5pm. Please call and schedule an appointment with the Detention Deputy (785) 743-5721. There is a $20.00 fee for all fingerprinting (except for concealed carry which is $32.50).

For new and current offenders, please call to schedule an appointment to get registered or updated. (785) 743-5721, Trego County Sheriff's Office.
